Ellen O’Neal was one of a group of women that made up the skating scene in the early 70’s. I can remember the old Thrasher magazines and how young women were as much a part of the subculture as boys back in the 60s and 70s, before thugs and corporations took the fun out and made it into a cash cow sport.
